THE SPECIAL PACK AT THE HUNGARIAN FILM FESTIVAL - WITH AUDIENCE MEETING
In her first feature film, Little Hajni tells the story of a father and his daughter's complicated discovery of each other. It is a gritty, yet life-affirming drama in which the two newcomers, Zorka Horváth and Gusztáv Dietz, make a great pair.
Twelve-year-old Niki, a wild child, has difficulty fitting in at school and lies her way into a happier family background. One night, against her grandparents' wishes, she visits her grumpy, abusive father, who works as a bouncer. One of them listens to Scooter, the other to Icelandic synthpop, but it's clear they need each other.
Director: Kis Hajni
