Description
beck@grecsó: love comma peace
spaces, hopes, flowers - in six pictures
The new performance by the beck@grecsó duo is an ironic and uplifting spiritual inventory. Two creative people taking stock of past, heritage, journey and arrival. Cities, squares, garages, railway tracks that never meet in infinity. Zoltán Beck and Krisztián Grecsó took a ruthless look inside themselves to see if the old hopes and beliefs were still there. What it means to meet the adolescent in them, and of course what they pass on, what they live in now. Country, city, boy, girl.
After the 100th performance of Something of Ourselves, here is the new beck@grecsó premiere, Love is a rod of peace. Collectively written prose, songs, poems - in six pictures. The new performance is an intellectual, or rather spiritual, continuation of the previous one, but it carries something concrete forward: it will also keep changing and evolving until it reaches a creative endpoint.
