19:00 Ternipe

Ternipe is an authentic gypsy world music ensemble from Hungary, which represents and transmits a rich cultural heritage to the audience. Their instrumentation combines traditional and modern elements, creating a unique and diverse sound. The ensemble has participated in numerous international festivals and concerts, where they have always been a great success with their authentic performances and enthusiastic performances. Their repertoire includes traditional Gypsy songs as well as their own compositions, which combine folk roots with a modern musical approach. The band is led by Béla Lakatos, who has decades of experience and dedication in leading the group, promoting the preservation of tradition and innovation in music.

20:00 Szilvási Gipsy Folk Band

In 1993, they won the national Who Knows What competition in the folk music category with Romano Glaszo. In one fell swoop they achieved national recognition.

In 1997, the Szilvási Gipsy Folk Band was formed, and they became one of the biggest Roma bands, and what is more, the most frequently performed band in the Hungarian uderground and the mainstream folk music scene of the time. For 18-20 years they played 120-150 concerts a year in Hungary and abroad. They became a European Roma band almost in the blink of an eye.

As permanent members of Hungarian and international music festivals, they introduce traditional Roma music to the public. At the same time, they take an active role in Roma affairs, representing the cultural and social field, as well as the entertainment and music industry with a sophisticated, traditional sound. Their performances are colourful and diverse, quickly creating an unforgettable and enjoyable atmosphere for their listeners.

The formation of more than 30 years old has a career that hardly needs any introduction: tours abroad, collaborations with world stars, countless emblematic songs, videos with millions of views, music awards and accolades. 

They consistently balance the electronics and the world music, jazz and the contemporary music fields. Their speciality lies in their musical playfulness and mix of styles, combining sounds from modern electronic dance music, reggae, dub to pop. The group is equally respectful in the way it incorporates and transforms the Hungarian folk music from Transylvania, as well as the Roma music elements of.

On numerous occasions they have visited the the stages of major festivals (Sziget Festival, VOLT Festival, Balaton Sound, Valley of Arts, etc.), toured In major European cities (London, Paris, Berlin, Prague, Moscow, Barcelona, Brussels, etc.) and festivals (Soundsfair Festival, Womex), and regular guests In Transylvania (Tusnadvordő, Târgu Mures, Oradea, Sfântu Gheorghe, Odorheiu Secuiesc, etc.).
