Az „Ellopott gyermekkor” című előadásban Bibók Bea pszichológus, pár- és szexuálterapeuta arról beszél, mi történik, ha egy gyermek túl korán kap felnőtt szerepet – és milyen láthatatlan terheket viszünk tovább ebből felnőttként is.
A pszichológiában ezt a jelenséget parentifikációnak hívják: amikor a gyermek veszi át a hiányzó felnőtt felelősségét, és érzelmileg tartja össze a családot. Kívülről ez erős, önálló, segítőkész gyerekként látszik – belül azonban gyakran fájdalmas hiányt hordoz.
