Dalva is only 12, but she dresses, puts on make-up and behaves like a grown-up woman. One night, family services take her from her father's home. After some initial outrage and bewilderment, she meets Jayden, a foster carer, and Samia, a teenage girl with character, and a new life opens up for her: the kind of life a 12-year-old girl should have.
