Krisztián Szűcs has been an emblematic figure in the alternative music scene since the 90s, and is a founding member of Heaven Street Seven (HS7). As the band's frontman, he has recorded several huge hits, but has also worked with Neo and Yonderboi. The singer-guitarist has come a long way from the alternative club scene to the Budapest Bar, with whom he often performs.
In spring 2022, he released his first solo album, Watershed. The sound and structure of the album goes all the way back to the beginnings of HS7, with songs that evoke the Manchester popular music scene of the 1980s, with lyrics in Hungarian.
Krisztián Szűcs' upcoming tour will celebrate a quarter of a century of musical travel, starting on 28 February at the packed MOMKult stage. The concert series promises to be a unique musical experience, where the most defining moments of the past three decades will be brought to life.
Buoyed by the sold-out MOMkult concert, the band decided to go on tour and celebrate the 25th anniversary of the birth of the song "Where is that guy from Crete". In the framework of this celebration, the band will also give a concert in Veszprém, on the Agóra stage.
