The beauty of change - parallel cycles
Women's life stages in the mirror of nature
For me, the main inspiration is nature. In it I see divine order and perfection with all its imperfections and irregularities. In it I discover the parallels of the biology of female life. I think and experience that it is very difficult today in Western society to live the ancient feminine attributes as a woman. For example, harmony. Women, like nature, are ever-changing, unpredictable, instinctive, passionate, irregular, multi-faceted - while our society is increasingly shifting towards rationality, regulation, technology, further and further away from nature, depriving ourselves of much, much of our energies, rituals, rhythms. Spirit and matter are not in opposition, but should be in unity. In my art I experience this connection and harmony. My paintings are not statements, but question assumptions based on my own subjective experiences. Can we still return to Mother Earth? How have I connected with the past and how have my own generation and younger ones?
The exhibition will be opened by Lajos Veszeli, painter

"Veronika Nagy's paintings are not just a visual grip to capture the complexity of the feminine quality. They are also highlights of a great story: tangible representations of the eternal history of womanhood. The ancient story we hear in the storytelling is inextricably linked to this world, as it shows the journey from the little girl to the mature woman - a journey that, with its more or less unique patterns, is ultimately the journey of all of us."
