"Only married people can really understand how someone can be miserable and happy at the same time." Chris Rock

When we are young, we usually struggle to get a man and then to keep him. Then, for many of us, the main question becomes how to bear him, how to get rid of this once wonderful man. But why should it be legitimate that someone we could kill for at first, we could kill later? Should we really lose the best, most exciting, most inspiring things a relationship can offer? Why not keep it for long decades and discover new things in it? Or does a new show need a new man? Why can't we experience passion, intimacy, yes, love just because our skin is only velvety thanks to increasingly expensive creams? Why should our prices in the meat market be lower because we are no longer young chicks but ageing hens? Why shouldn't we be able to find our other half on side B just because side A didn't spin it out for us? And anyway: does everyone really need a constant partner to be happy?
