Visitors can learn about the amazing world of meteorites and get hands-on experience. This programme is unique in the country, as only the Bakony Astronomical Association offers interactive meteorite demonstrations! Their collection is very diverse and growing. During the presentation, visitors will learn what they have in their hands, where they come from, what they are made of, how they collect, recognise and distinguish stones that fall from the sky. The collection includes both known and rare and special pieces. You can see not only meteorites but also the rocks created by their impact - impactites and tektites. The mysterious world of meteorites also gives us a comprehensive picture of the birth of our solar system. The lecture is recommended for all ages!
