The heroes of the film are the Hungarian water polo legends who were invincible between 1997 and 2008: the team of Benedek, Kásás, Kiss, Szécsi, Biros, Molnár won three Olympic gold medals, two European and one World Championship title, two World League and one World Cup. The director-producer Tamás S. Zákonyi presents the hitherto unknown background of this period of success in Hungarian water polo, a sport that is recognised and admired the world over, from the perspective of the team members and their international opponents. The film, in which everyone from the players to the team doctor to Dénes Kemény, the national captain, has their say, also pays tribute to Tibor Benedek, who tragically died young.
