Charles Aznavour, the Armenian king of French chanson, composer and performer of immortal world hits, would have turned 100 this year. From the age of six until he was 94, he was on stage until the last moment of his life. He was given a truly full life, full of shadows and light. A play based on the life of Charles Aznavour has been performed at the Urartu Armenian Theatre for ten years. To mark its 100th anniversary, the company is paying tribute to his memory with this extraordinary, revived production.
