In the morning semi-finals, the contestants will present themselves to a divided jury in three locations: the Chamber Hall, Rooms 207 and 212. In the semi-finals, the contestants are free to choose the piece they wish to recite first. After a short deliberation, the jury will announce the names of the finalists and the poems they would like to hear in the final. The final, starting at 14.00, will take place in the Chamber Hall, in front of the jury, where the winners of each of the five age groups will present the work selected by the jury.
The first three winners in each category will receive a prize. The main prize of the competition will be a bronze plaque by sculptor István Lendvai, specially created for the occasion, and will be provided by the Agóra Veszprém Cultural Centre.
The sponsors of the competition and the donors of the special prizes are the Hungarian Poetry Writers' Association, the daughter of the eponym of the competition, Éva Szabóné Pintér and Rédei Kertimag Zrt.
Other important information:
Free parking is available around the institution.
A buffet service will be available throughout the day.
We ask all competitors to please bring a maximum of two family members, as more than this will not fit in the venue.
We also kindly ask all competitors to arrive on time at the competition venue, at the latest by 09:30.
We reserve the right to change the programme.

In memory of Tibor Pintér
The Agóra Veszprém Cultural Centre, in cooperation with the Hungarian Poetry Writers' Association, announces the 12th Eternal Podium national poetry and prose recitation competition.
The competition honours the memory of Tibor Pintér, a Radnóti Prize-winning performer, director, folklorist and great teacher, who successfully directed the TIT Mihály Váci Literary Stage in the service of literature for forty years. He organised, edited and directed his shows, trained excellent poets from amateur youth and forged a nationally renowned group of poets who regularly visited the towns and villages of Veszprém County.
The competition will be organised in 5 categories. The aim of the competition is to showcase the rich heritage and outstanding values of Hungarian literature in a worthy manner, so contestants should prepare as follows:
Categories:
I. Students in grades 1-4
II. students in grades 5-8
Two different poems or prose, one from a freely chosen classic and one from a contemporary Hungarian author.
III. 9-12th grade secondary school students
IV. adults aged 18-59
V. Over 60 years
Three different poems or prose, one of which is by Attila József, plus a classic of your choice and a poem or prose by a contemporary Hungarian author.
The jury will decide the winners of each category will receive a prize.
