Béla Radics became the best Hungarian guitarist of his time by listening to the radio and learning by ear, and later the immortal legend of Hungarian rock, who only lived 36 years. Gábor Klacsán's film follows Radics' life from his youth to his death, showing his family background and the contradictions of the communist dictatorship in Hungary. In parallel to the fate of the first Eastern European guitar hero, an imaginary rural TV show welcomes its guests and interviews Radics' contemporaries, or induces heated debates between them. In a third, parallel strand, the National Film Archive is restoring an unexpected Radics film footage.
