Do you like Christmas? Are you happy to draw? Would you be happy to see your drawing
projected to the size of a house? Then you have no choice but to join our drawing competition!
The theme of the competition is "My Christmas"
The main criterion for judging the entries was that the light painting should reflect the beauty of the holiday and thus decorate the façade of the House of Lords on the main street of Veszprém.
There are three age groups to apply:
Age group I: Preschool children (4-6 years old)
Age group II: pupils in lower secondary school (grades 1-4)
Age group III: upper secondary school pupils (grades 5-8)
Each applicant may submit one entry.
Please be sure to include your name, age, grade, class, postal address, and the e-mail address and phone number of the parent who will be representing you in the application process.
Technical conditions:
You can draw with markers, crayons, paint with watercolour, tempera or even acrylic. So there's no technical limitation, the main thing is to create as colourful a piece of art as possible in A4 size, in a stationary format.
IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT WE CAN ONLY ACCEPT ARTWORK IN PORTRAIT A/4 FORMAT!
Deadline for submission: Friday 22 November 2024
The results will be announced on 30.11.2024, at 17:00 during the opening ceremony of the Illuminated Advent, the parents of the winners will be notified by e-mail, and their names and works will be published on the Agóra Veszprém Cultural Centre's Facebook page.
Prizes will be awarded to the winning entries - the top three in each age group - and all entries that meet the competition criteria will be displayed on the wall of the House of Lords during the Advent weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) between 16:00 and 19:00 in a light painting display.
Submission of the application:
ELECTRONICALLY: Entries should be sent to adventirajz2024@agoraveszprem.hu, scanned in A4 size, minimum resolution 300 dpi, jpg or pdf format.
PERSONAL LEADING: during opening hours, at the Agóra Veszprém Cultural Centre (Veszprém, Táborállás Park 1.)
