There's always something happening in the bustling districts of Paris. Giovanna, the former opera star, is furious: she has been wrongly declared dead, and the press reaction to the news is much slower than she would like. British stuntman Mike defies death day after day - is he secretly terrified? Smoking kills, but Dolores doesn't care: on her grandson's 15th birthday, she makes a one-sided pact with God. Marie-Cerise, a troubled, humiliated and depressed teenager, wants to commit suicide, but she is kidnapped and her captor soon becomes her psychiatrist. Edouard has been running a famous crime series on television for years, but suddenly gets a stomach bug when he remembers his own mortality. The fates of the characters are intertwined through everyday trifles... (Cirko Film)
