Description

The evening, inspired by Jean-Paul Sartre's play The Closed Negotiation, is a captivating work on the edge of theatre and dance. Three men, two socialites and a lizard-like seducer gather in a suburban room that turns out to be hell itself. Gradually, as their relationships build and unravel, the trio realize they are trapped by their obsessions and are stuck with each other forever.

The evening won the International Critics' Award, the Scotland on Sunday Best Dance Production Award and the Independent Theatre Special Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Originally staged in 1993, the production was revived for the company's 30th anniversary.
