Elise, the young star of the Paris Opera, is seriously injured at the end of a performance. The brilliantly talented ballerina's dreams are suddenly dashed when doctors tell her she cannot dance for years. But a chance encounter propels her into the world of contemporary dance, where she makes new friends. Dance is life, and it's never too late to break new ground! The film is choreographed by one of the most famous figures in contemporary dance, Hofesh Shechter, and stars a ballerina from the Paris Opera (IF Cinéma).

As in previous years, the 2024 edition of the Francophone Film Days will be held in our institution, this year in collaboration with the French Institute and the Foton Audiovisual Centre. As every year, the 2024 edition of the Francophone Film Days will be a great opportunity to showcase the best of recent film production from the Francophone countries in Hungary in March, the traditional month for celebrating Francophonie.
