How much do you take on? And how much can you handle? Overworked Bogi is studying classical singing at the Academy of Music, but as a country girl, she's finding it hard to find her place in Budapest. She earns money by babysitting her cousin Tamás and his wife Zita's young children. The couple's relationship is in crisis, and the tension between them is inadvertently spilling over to the children and ultimately to Bogi. She makes a fatal mistake on the day of a singing exam that is crucial to her future.
The latest film by Mihály Schwechtje, director of I hope you die next time 🙂 explores the problem of overwork, following the day of one of its three main characters. It gives a poignant picture of the sacrifices we have to make in order to get through our everyday lives.
