Mathieu, a successful Parisian actor, is about to turn fifty. Alice, a piano teacher in her forties, lives in a small seaside resort in the west of France. The two were in love for more than a decade, then parted ways. Much time has passed since then, and the two broken hearts have slowly healed. When Mathieu travels to the sea to escape the melancholy that overwhelms the city, he unexpectedly bumps into Alice. (Cirko Film)

As in previous years, the 2024 edition of the Francophone Film Days will be held in our institution, this year in collaboration with the French Institute and the Foton Audiovisual Centre. As every year, the 2024 edition of the Francophone Film Days will be a great opportunity to showcase the best of recent film production from the Francophone countries in Hungary in March, the traditional month for celebrating Francophonie.
